Some problems I ran into while using ubcd4win:

After having set all parameters and after continuing to prepare the ISO file, the process completes without any errors or warnings. No ISO file seems to be created however. The UBCD4WinBuilder.log file displays the following error:

5716 init_cheap: Couldn't reserve 3600084 bytes of space for cygwin's heap, Win32 error 487

For those not running Symantec endpoint protection this problem can be fixed by replacing the cygwin1.dll file in the C:\UBCD4Win\temp folder with the latest one, which can be downloaded from the following resources:

http://www.cygwin.com/
http://www.student.tugraz.at/thomas.plank/

If you are running Symantec endpoint protection then you're doomed and will have to wait for the next ubcd4win release because there seems to be some conflict between those 2 pieces of software (cfr here and here
